Returns Policy

What is your return policy? (and other information)

Screaming CD 's goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your CD purchase. When you receive your package, we ask that you examine it closely prior to opening the factory sealed product packaging. If you are not satisfied with your order, we shall do our best to resolve an issue as best as we can.  Please contact us at info@screamingcd.com

Due to copyright laws, Music CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in opened packages may only be exchanged for the same item. Screaming CD will gladly exchange or provide a refund on unopened items. However, shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable in this case. We will also gladly refund your shipping costs if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective. 

All products (both defective and non-defective) sold on Screaming CD must be returned in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, and any other item or accessory provided by the manufacturer. 

An item from my order is defective or damaged. How do I exchange it?
Please follow the instructions on the "Product Exchange Form" that was sent with your shipment. If you did not receive a form you may include a note stating your information and reason of return with your shipment. 

Please note that we are not responsible for orders that arrive to you damaged by the Post Office; we will never ship you a damaged item; any damaged or missing packages should be reported to your local Postmaster. However, if you receive an item other than what you ordered or an item with a manufacturing defect, simply return it to our office and we will replace it with the correct item, along with a credit slip to cover your return shipping expenses.

I'm not satisfied with this CD! Can I return it?
Unfortunately, no. Once a CD is  Make sure you know what you’re buying before purchasing. All returns for defective items will get a new copy of the same item in return.

What if my item(s) get lost in the post?
Royal Mail allow 3 weeks (15 working days) after despatch before they class an item as lost. If this amount of time has passed since your order was despatched, please let us know using the form on the ''Contact Us'' page and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent and we will file a claim for the lost item with Royal Mail.
If it hasn't been 3 weeks since your order was sent, Royal Mail class your item as officially delayed. They offer the following advice if this is the case:
· Confirm your address in writing
· Check with your neighbours to see if a parcel has been left with them
· Check any outhouses you might have where mail may be left if it cannot fit through your letterbox
· Contact your local sorting office to see if the item has been returned to the depot as undelivered and awaiting collection.
What if some of the items I've ordered are missing?
We generally send each part of your order separately, to make sure you get everything as quickly as possible. Please don't worry if it doesn't all arrive at the same time - multiple items may arrive over the course of a couple of days.
Received the wrong item?
If you have received a wrong item, it's easy just follow the steps below and return the item back to us and we will replace it.
1. Pleasewrap the item and the package securely and ensure a note is attached detailing the problem, the order andthe original invoice.
2. We do not accept liability for goods which are returned in faulty packaging. We recommend that you use a recorded or registered delivery service.
3. Lastly send the item to our address:

What if the item(s) are damaged when they arrive?
If your item arrives damaged then let us know by using the form on the ''Contact Us'' page, making sure you select ''Damaged Items'' from the options - be careful to include all the information requested.
What if the item(s) are faulty when they arrive?
If your item arrives faulty then let us know by using the form on the ''Contact Us'' page, making sure you select ''Faulty Items'' from the options - be careful to include all the information requested. Please try the item on more than one player - we can then confirm the issue is definitely with the item. This will ensure the replacement service is as quick as it should be.
What if the item is no longer required?
If you decide you no longer want the item we will accept their return within 7 days, as long as the packaging is intact and there is no damage. Prior to returning please let us know by using the form on the ''Contact Us'' page, making sure you select ''Unwanted Items'' from the options - be careful to include all the information requested. If the item is still in its original envelope, you can simply cross through your address and pop it in the post. The item will be returned to the sender (us).
What about returns?
If you wish to return any of the items purchased from us, you have seven days from the day after you received the goods to send them back for a full refund with no questions asked. All we require is that the items are still in their original packaging and condition.
Before returning any items, you need to let us know by using the relevant form on the ''Contact Us'' page - be careful to include all the information requested. Any items returned without a notification code will not be refunded.?This is in line with UK distance selling regulations. Full details of your rights are available from The Office of Fair Trading
Who pays for the postage of returned goods?
If the goods are being returned due to a fault or down to an error by ScreamingCD.com , all postage costs will be covered. In all other instances you will be responsible for return postage.
How do I cancel my order?
The easiest way for you to cancel your order is by clicking on ''My Account''. In the following screen simply highlight the order and click ''Cancel this item''. If this option is not available, the item will have already been processed by our warehouse team. In this instance please follow our guidance above under ''What if the item is no longer required?''.
